About me

Short Version

I grew up on the West Coast of Newfoundland in a town called Stephenville. I went to university - first to MUN, then to Dal, and picked up three degrees and various awards along the way. I got married and had a kid. I was called to the Bar. I channeled my inner Goldilocks and tried out firms large and small and worked as an in-house counsel too. Not finding a role that was "just right," I built a charitable foundation instead, and then branched out into the world of social business. I returned to the private sector at an accounting firm where I explored the world of financial crime before returning full-time to law. Now I love what I do.
